LABYRINTH LINKS

“Every labyrinth should be a unique work of art, because each intention, setting and community is different.”
This is the website of Lars Howlett, my former apprentice, who is now a leading labyrinth builder, teacher, and facilitator. He has some of the information from my former website on his website. He has many teaching videos on YouTube:

Veriditas is a 501c3 non profit incorporated in the State of California in 1995 by Lauren Artress. The word "Veriditas" originated with Hildegard of Bingen and means "the greening power of life".

Mission: Veriditas is dedicated to inspiring personal and planetary change and renewal through the labyrinth experience. We accomplish our mission by training and supporting labyrinth facilitators around the world, and offering meaningful events that promote further understanding of the labyrinth as a tool for personal and community transformation.

Our Vision is that the labyrinth experience guides us in developing the higher level of human awareness we need to thrive in the 21st century.

Chuck Hunner served for many years as my onsite supervisor for labyrinth installations. A glutton for punishment, he continues to install labyrinths on his own. He is also an excellent jeweler and makes some nifty labyrinth jewelry. He lives in Asheville, NC.

When I closed my studio in 2010, Lisa Moriarty filled the demand for making portable labyrinths. She also makes permanent labyrinths and sells finger labyrinths. She has a long history of service in the labyrinth community.

Marty Kermeen is the world’s greatest paver and stone labyrinth maker. Sometime he uses water jet technology to cut intricate patterns such as the details of the Chartres labyrinth. However, Marty actually does even a better job, working by hand. As a result, his paver labyrinths are expensive, but they are works of art that will last for generations.

Jeff Saward has been the world’s leading authority on labyrinths (and mazes) for some forty years. His website includes informative articles, including his journal Caerdroia, as well as thousands of photographs. You would be hard pressed to find a labyrinth anywhere in the world that Jeff hasn’t visited, photographed, and written about.

www.labyrinthsociety.com
The Labyrinth Society, a U.S. nonprofit 501c3 organization, serves labyrinth enthusiasts all over the world. Its mission is to support all those who create, maintain, and use labyrinths, and to serve the global community by providing education, networking, and opportunities to experience transformation. The annual labyrinth gathering draws people with a wide range of interests.

www.labyrinthlocator.com
A combined effort of the Labyrinth Society and Veriditas, the labyrinth locator lists thousands of labyrinth all over the world. This information must be uploaded by someone, so not all labyrinths can be found here, but still quite a few.

Don’t miss the information on this website about labyrinths (see LABYRINTHS).

PROTON THERAPY LINKS

Previously I had several proton therapy websites. They no longer exist, and their addresses point to this website. The include:
www.protontherapybook.com
www.proton-beam-therapy.com
www.proton-therapy-centers.com

The information on this website concerning proton therapy exceeds what these websites used to contain. (See PROTON BEAM THERAPY).

www.clinicaltrials.gov

List of clinical trials all over the world.

www.proton-cancer-treatment.com
The English-language website for the proton therapy center in Prague. They kindly provided me with illustrations I have used in my proton books.

www.proton-therapy.org
The website of the National Association for Proton Therapy. Most of the proton therapy centers in the United States belong to this organization. They sponsor an annual convention and have a newsletter with interesting content.

www.proton-therapy-today.com
An online magazine about proton therapy. It doesn’t appear to be up to date.

www.protonbob.com/about-proton-therapy/proton-therapy-myths
On the website of the Brotherhood of the Balloon, this article debunks myths about proton therapy. They also have information about insurance, diet, and a monthly newsletter for their 17,000 members.

www.allianceforprotontherapy.org
This nonprofit organization supported by the proton industry encourages insurance coverage and reports cases, both positive and negative.

www.ptcog.ch
The Particle Therapy Co-Operative Group, which documents the proton therapy centers in the world. If you are thinking of going abroad for treatment, this would be the place to look.

www.afterproton.com
Ron Nelson, formerly treated with proton therapy, makes many astute observations on this website which is well worth subscribing to.

Besides these websites, every proton therapy center has an informative website and often a newsletter (see HOW TO CHOOSE A CENTER). Many centers also have organized former recipients into organizations calling them ambassadors or proton buddies.
